At the Bangladesh Denim Expo 2022, Jeanologia, a Spanish business that creates eco-efficient solutions, guides the Bangladeshi textile industry toward complete sustainability and competitiveness with Laundry5.Zero, the jeans-finishing facility that ensures ZER contamination.
The company demonstrated its dedication to boosting productivity and efficiency in the nation's denim production during the event, which took place from November 15–16 in Dhaka, with the best cost-per-garment indicators, both environmentally and financially.

He believed that in the near future, water will be the primary cost factor. He emphasized the significance of turning denim production facilities into environmentally friendly facilities and suggested that Bangladesh participate in Jeanologia's Mission Zero to entirely reduce the usage of water and waste in the global production of jeans. In this regard, he singled out Laundry5.Zero as a crucial component to achieving these objectives since it ensures a water usage reduction of 85%, zero discharges, and zero contamination thanks to the flawless integration of Jeanologia technology.
This garment finishing factory will enable a new digital, automated, and environmentally friendly production model that decreases time, costs, and complexity of operations. It will have a sustainable production capacity of between 5,000 and 25,000 garments per day. All this while maintaining the product's originality and remaining responsive to the changing demands of the market. In this regard, he highlighted the "Engineering Center" as being "the brain of new digital production" in this new manufacturing paradigm.
This cutting-edge facility is designed as a fully digital laboratory that supports the textile industry's conversion to sustainability and digital transformation. It has the ability to streamline workflow, create physical and digital samples of clothing, and ensure that the same results obtained in the lab can be reproduced perfectly in mass manufacturing, or "from lab to bulk."
